penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

Penguins don't have a wide variety of things to eat. There's fish, and there's fish and then there's fish. You get the idea. Phil and Angie on the other hand seem to have found a lot of different edible choices. Oh well...

See you later!

We usually try to find local restaurants when we travel once we get where we are going.
Phoenix has a pretty broad range of places to eat at, especially if you like southwest (aka mexican) food.

Friday night, sort of stumbled onto Los Dos Molinos.
Very southwest-cowboy decor. Be sure to check out the boot sizes on the right.
Angie got surprised by her drink!

Once of the young ladies sitting next to us recommended this drink. Angie was NOT disappointed!

PROOF was were we went for Angie's birthday. Which was why we were in Phoenix in the first place. The restaurant is actually in nearby Scottsdale.
A special birthday treat for Angie. Everything but the tray was edible.
The restaurant industry seems to have forgotten that people like to go out for breakfast. Phoenix is the exception to the rule in that respect. Check out Mimi's Cafe if you get a chance. You will not be disappointed. We didn't realize it was a chain, but it sure doesn't act like one. Very local flavor and attitude.

Check out the scenic Steamboat Tour and Phoenix landscape.
