penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

Hopefully, when plans change, you ultimately get to where you intended. It may take a path you didn't expect. For us down here, that means playing tag with a polar bear while eating and avoiding BEING eaten. Circle of life and all that crap.

See you later!

We eventually made our way back to Interstate 80, some 4 hours and 200 miles later than planned.
The problem wasn't JUST the 2 semi trucks crashing, but it was compounded by Wyoming exits tend to be VERY far apart.
In this case, the crash happened right in the middle of an exit span about 100 miles or so apart.

A deliberately isolated house.
Wind/snow breaks scattered all through the plains states.
An unseen curve or a sudden drop?
The line to get back onto I-80...
stretched for miles.
EVERYTHING on the roads means something. Even a lowly windsock.
