Every journey has to start someplace. For Phil and Angie, this one started by driving to someplace called Omaha.
We don't drive much down here in Antarctica. Mostly cause we don't have cars and penguins can't drive anyway.

Driving to Omaha consists mostly of driving across Iowa from Chicago.
It did have one or two interesting sites to see along the say.
Crossing the Mighty Mississippi into Iowa.
The world's largest truck stop.
An equally interesting stop. Do your own jokes.
Lots of windmill farms in the midwest. Didn't see any whales.
Sometimes they run...
Sometimes they don't.
Sudden rainstorms are fairly common in the plains states.
They come up fast..
and hit hard.
