Not a whole lot of ships come here, so we really don't need a lighthouse to warn them off. Would be nice for early warning about polar bears and walruses though.

At the north shore of Kaua'i is the Daniel K. Inouye Point Lighthouse and National Wildlife Refuge.
This was first place we saw the state bird of Hawai'i, which is the Nene.
Unfortunately, the lighthouse was closed, so this is as close as we got.
