We don't really have refuges here on the Antarctic ice flows. It's more a matter of finding a place to hide until either the weather breaks or the hungry polar leaves.

On the North Shore of Kaua'i we found the Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge.
We saw a few different kinds of birds and such, but didn't want to venture too far, lest we disturb them.
What's what here.
Lots of farming areas
and even a double rainbow.
