Most of these pictures were taken over a three day period in late January during sub-freezing, and sometimes sub-zero temperatures! Toss in a nice breeze off Lake Michigan, a little freezing rain and even by Chicago standards, that's freakin' cold!!


Our tour of Chicago's COOLEST spots begins on Lake Shore Drive and 41st	Apparently, an iceberg got lost.	All alone and no place to go!

This is a "do-it-yourself" panoramic view of the Chicago skyline, shot from Monroe Harbor, between the Adler Planaterium and Shedd Aquarium. Can you find the seams?

Anybody want to tickle these ivories?	Some pretty strange ice formations.	Looking more like those really wrinkley dogs then breakwater pilons.

Really big fluffy balls as far as the eye can see.	Of what, we aren't quite sure.	The harbor in flux.

It's as if the city was split in two by Navy Pier, seperating the two giant landmark buildings..	...each one claiming it's own piece of the city, with Lake Point Tower as a Neutral Zone.
