penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

Snow is no big deal to us penguins in Antarctica, but apparently, getting a LOT of it up where Phil and Angie live IS. Anyways, I can't shovel, but Mom said I could come up and play with you in it! Pleeeeeeese?

See you later!

The snow started at around 2 or so on the afternoon of February 1st,
and by the time it was all done early in the afternoon of February 2nd, about 20 inches had fallen.

While that makes it the 3rd biggest snowstorm in Chicago history, it sure felt like #2 to us!

One man, all alone in the night.
The occasional vehicle.
Civilization?
Reflections on the world.
The view out from in.
Our back yard snow drift.
Hawa'ii?
Keep your hands and feet in the car at all times!
Fruits of our labor.
Another view out from in.
Our untouched alley.
Not just another pretty face!
Waiting for the plow.
Our front yard snow drift.
Bring on the junk mail!
Nature's artwork.
Neighbors standing together.
The victorious snow warrior stands alone.
