Phil went to California for a couple of weeks on business a while back. When he was there, he took a drive on a very winding and twisty road. It looks like he had a lot of fun.

Most people have heard of Big Sur, at least to some degree.
But it is more then just a spot on a map to the people of California. It's an adventurous drive over 70 miles long and sometimes 1500 feet up and higher!
So come take a trip down California 1!

Some of these pictures are rather large, so be patient.

 
And so it begins...
Someplace north of Monterey
Even at 3 or so in the afternoon, the fog sets in.
And you thought YOUR mortgage was high!
A quiet little inlet.
Mist moving across the shore.
I vant to be alone!
LOTS of fog!
New meaning to drive-in!
A very erry, yet somehow serene picture.
Some pictures just HAVE to taken.
Oceans to the west, mountains to the east.
And so we bid farewell to California 1...
