penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

Penguins don't do a lot of decorating. It's kinda like this - if you've seen one iceberg, you've seen them all.
It does look like Angie and Phil did a lot of work on the outside of their house. Very cool.

See you later!

We have had issues with the large window on the west wall leaking when it rains hard during the spring and summer months.
This year it happened during the winter months too. Freezing and thawing causes ice dams which makes the window leak.
So we decided to have the roof inspected and discovered hail damage from a storm in April of 2020.
We ultimately got a fantastic contractor Horizon Restoration involved and helped us the insurance stuff.
The FANTASTIC results are what you see below.

This is what the house did look like.
West wall.
First step, replace the roof.
Now things are getting serious!
The siding arrives.
Sat there for almost a week! Our lawn may never recover.
Cue David Rose. Let the stripping begin.
Old siding being removed from the front and east walls..
west wall..
and the rear.
Now she gets a nice new wrap to keep
her warm and dry.
The finishing touches...
new siding and gutters..
all around.
Remember that door on the west wall...
It's gone outside..
AND in!
This little project started on March 25th and was completed on July 15th.
Thanks to everybody at Horizon Restoration, their contractors and
especially to our friend and agent Dan Sharp.
