penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

A while ago, Phil and Angie and Angie's sister Amy went to something called a zoo, where they keep all kinds of animals for people to see.  Of course the most popular place was the Penguin House.  Maybe Mom and I can move up there sometime!!

See you later!

Amidst the quiet surrounding of southwest Chicago is Brookfield Zoo.
I thought their humps were smoother?
Inside the Australian outback rainforest exhibit, bats fly freely about...

There were two places we HAD to go to ..naturally the Penguins at The Living Coast was first on the list.

Taking a break with Angie's sister Amy
We discovered this peacock just kind of hanging out with a couple of his buds.
Two Ibexs atop Ibex Island mountain...a fitting place for them.

This is Christy, a fiesty elephant with big balls!
She really got into playing with her balls.  Shortly after this picture as taken, she threw them into the gully surrounding their habitat.

These two were playing keep away with a large black plastic tub..which looked like a really big derby hat.
An example of a wild cat...
