Phil told me it seemed like it took FOREVER to get the new Apple Store built.  Here is what it looks like from the outside as they begin finishing it.

Now that the knockdown portion of the construction process is finished,
we can watch the buildout begin. 

News flash!!  Store opening now set for July 2003!!

Date:  mid Feb 2003:  Outer wall going up.
Still not sure what's going on with the back portion yet.
Date:  mid March.  Solid outer walls all around now.

Apple is taking both buildings, just not sure what they will do with the second one yet.

Date:  late April 2003.  This facade hasn't budged in weeks!
Hard at work on the facing of the "mystery" building.
That is one serious HVAC system!  Lots more then just a store for this set-up.

The logo frame is beginning to take shape.
Looks like the central core might be a multi-floor atrium type thing.
A better, if not somewhat closer view of the store lid.
