penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

Sometimes it's hard to figure out why a particular piece of land was called what it is. Apparently this is not one of those times.

See you later!

Spouting Horn beach is aptly named, given what the rock formations cause the water to do.
It's amazing when you think that all of this was caused by volcanic eruptions thousands or millions of years ago.
Be careful where you walk though, some of those holes don't look too forgiving.

You are here
And this is why it's called Spouting Horn
All kinds of spouts
Getting ready to blow
Starts out small
then gets bigger
And bigger still
Retracts a bit
Then uncorks a big one
Kind of like
Goddess Namakaokahai's
washing machine
