penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

We don't have a lot of things to worry about down here in Antarctic. Just the occasional polar bear and LOTS of cold winds and snow. It looks like the folks in Florida, where Phil and Angie went a little while ago have more to deal with then we do. I hope they had fun while they were there!

See you later!

Gatorland originally started in 1947 as the Florida Wildlife Institute, featuring a variety of snakes,
birds and of course, alligators. After going through a couple of name changes,
it became known as Gatorland in 1954. It has since grown into a world-wide recognized place to come
visit, observe and interact with these creatures of the Florida Everglades.

Chomp, chomp...more tourists!
Ahhh...resting in the shade.
Just beneath the surface...
Hi...how ya doin'?
A communal setting.
A couple of lay-abouts.
Asking one of the locals for directions.
Little kids..
and a big kid!
OK, look pretty for the camera.
You NEVER clean behind your ears!
Feros Zomb...Fierce Ghost.
Read about him here, and take heed!
The obligatory Florida flamingo shot
A much darker bird in the background.
Vultures perhaps?
Time to 'rassle' the gator!
Fun for all.
Just hang on tight.
Emu you
Emu me.
Lest we forget the REAL stars of this place!
The feeding area.
Waitin' on lunch.
Yo...toss some of that food over here!
Slowly edging up.
Looks a bit too close, eh?
